this is from thursday but because i think its interesting, im gonna blog it :P
thursday during compass period we had this little game of forming a group and making up our business plan. the class was split into 3 grps and our grp first tot of selling illegal drugs, then there is this post of "drug overlord", which mr kua overheard and gave us that face lol
then he wrote on the board "no illegal business" which brought laughter to everyone in the grp
so we ended up with someone's idea of having a telecommunications business. the name of the company was "StarTel". (hints of trying to eat up starhub and singtel and monopolise the telecomm industry lol)
danny was named the CEO, which i promptly called him "da ge", and then our business plan started, i wrote about how we are gonna get into the industry and undercut the current oligopolies by setting a lower price, and grab all their customers XD (so unrealistic due to the kinked demand curve)
but in any case the other members came up with a list of all kind of non-price competition. o_O haha
lol the funny part is that one other grp's business plan is to buy over "startel" and the third grp's company once they heard the name and wrote that on the board, if u understand wat im saying.
but then comes the voting and somehow we won due to some internal conflict between the other grps when they give their vote lol.
